See the world differently — volunteer with Cricket Without Boundaries.
Cricket Without Boundaries (CWB) is calling for enthusiastic volunteers from across the UK to join its upcoming two-week community cricket projects in East Africa, Nepal, and Brazil — helping to grow the game while supporting powerful social change.
For over twenty years, CWB has partnered with cricket associations, local organisations and coaches to deliver cricket coaching combined with education around key social issues — including gender equality, health awareness, and community inclusion. Volunteers don’t need to be cricket experts; they simply need passion, openness, and a willingness to get stuck in.
“CWB has given thousands of Rwandans the first chance to play cricket but also helped build the structures to grow it – coaching, competitions, education. And it’s not just cricket. The health messages, especially around HIV awareness, have been vital too. Together, we’ve come so far. Now we must keep growing, step by step.”
Landry Rurangwa – Development Manager, Rwanda Cricket Association
Two weeks that make a lasting impact
Each project brings together UK volunteers and local partners to:
- Run inclusive cricket sessions in schools and community hubs
- Train local teachers and coaches to sustain programmes long-term
- Support messages around health, equality, and life skills
- Create opportunities for girls and young people who are often excluded from sport
Volunteers gain hands-on coaching experience, cross-cultural learning, leadership skills, and unforgettable memories — while contributing to work that continues long after the two-weeks ends.
Open to volunteers from all backgrounds
No prior coaching or charity experience is required. CWB provides:
- Clear pre-trip briefings on culture, safeguarding, and project context
- Travel planning guidance and coordination support
- In-country guidance from experienced project leaders
- On-the-ground partnership links with local organisations
What matters most is enthusiasm, flexibility, and a commitment to teamwork.

We also ask volunteers to cover the cost of participating in the training weekend.
