
Trustee sought for cricket for development charity Cricket Without Boundaries
Cricket Without Boundaries is a UK charity who use cricket as a tool for social development. While the charity is best known for its work tackling HIV in sub-Saharan Africa, CWB has also used the sport to help reintegrate child soldiers, work with communities to end FGM and has recently begun work in the UK delivering female empowerment training for community coaches.
The charity is growing, we are involved in an exciting project with Public Health England developing our delivery and are eager to capitalise on new opportunities to broaden the charity’s impact. As a result of the charity’s growth, the Board of Trustees wishes to recruit an additional trustee, who will add to the Board’s existing diverse range of backgrounds, experiences and skills.
We seek individuals who can bring high level experience, success and skills in either sport for development or corporate partnerships and fundraising. In addition, experience in the following areas is also desired:
- Social Development / Community engagement (particularly in Low/Middle Income countries)
- Charitable work
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Recruitment / Volunteer management
