Holly's blog begins!
"I've been meaning to go on a trip with 'cricket without boundaries' for years. No really, I was planning on applying to go in my gap year but unfortunately I couldn't as I was due to play for a club in Australia and couldn't miss the start of their season.
However, I was reminded of the charity by twitter as they popped up on my homepage. I have just recently graduated from Durham University and so I thought now was the perfect time to finally embark on one of their projects.
Straight after uni had finished I went into the NatWest Women's Series with the England team so my preparation for the trip hasn't got off to a flying start.
But now with my flights finally booked it has become a reality and the fundraising needs to start. I am planning on doing a raffle with various signed shirts from the England Women's Team, Sussex men, Essex men, various cricket equipment including one of my bats and loads more.
Also I have a ridiculous amount of old England kit that I am planning on donating. So I have fundraising ideas sorted and the flights, only the vaccinations, visa and training to sort. So not much then."
