CWB and Martin Berrill Sports continue growing partnership
CWB is delighted to announce that Martin Berrill Sports will continue to provide Flik Cricket equipment for CWB projects, with the organisation now recognised as an official supplier of the charity.
The formalised partnership has come about through the hard work of Ian Macklin and Paul Franklin from Martin Berrill Sports alongside Andrew Ryan, Head of Fundraising and Corporate Partnerships at CWB.
One crucial aspect of the new arrangements will be the introduction of dual branded Flik Cricket kit being delivered to CWB's African beneficiaries by CWB project teams, with the CWB logo to feature prominently. This equipment is left with schools who have received CWB coaching to further development of the sport, and the presence of the CWB logo on such equipment will be a permanent reminder of the HIV-related behavioural messages which are such a critically important element of CWB's coaching work.
Andrew Ryan commented: Martin Berrill Sports have supported CWB for a number of years and this is a great step forward in the partnership. We focus on working with partners who really share our vision, and it is clear from their support over the last few years and their plans for the future that Martin Berrill Sports really do see eye to eye with CWB.
Paul Franklin commented: Here at Martin Berrill Sports, we are delighted to continue our support of Cricket Without Boundaries, who we have been privileged to work with since 2007. CWB is a wonderful UK charity, dedicated to raising AIDS awareness around the world, through cricket and to see the impact that this has on the lives of so many deprived youngsters is heart-warming.
