Uganda Spring 2010

26th February - 14th March

Scott Keown's team have now returned home from their successful trip to Uganda. Whilst the final stats are being crunched, but with numbers approaching 300 on most days, we could be up for a record. Cricket development is in good hands with the UCA.

We were very fortunate to spend two weeks in a beautiful country full of friendly people who smiled and waved to us as we passed through towns and villages. We will all take back some wonderful memories from our time in Uganda.

Also some press coverage can be found here and here

"First and foremost I would like to thank you for your tremendous effort in coaching cricket to both the totos(young ones) and the coaches (teachers) not only in Uganda but also in many other poor nations in the world. This is well executed with Aids/HIV awareness messages relayed to the participants amidst their excitement. The idea of coaching the coaches, then the young ones and finally a tournament is a complete package for the excitement and ever smiling future stars".
