Botswana Autumn 2012

3rd - 18th November

On the 3rd November 7 volunteers left the uk to undertake the CWB HIV project to Botswana covering two places, Gaborone the capital in the south and Francistown/Masunga in the north of the country working with the Botswana cricket association to promote cricket and HIV/AIDS awareness.


The following schools were visited Seboko , Motsatsing Phutadikobo, Mosielele, Masunga, Makaleng, Vukwi, Kalakamati, Zebhansemere over 1300 children were introduce to cricket and coached along with approx.



89 teachers coached in the basics of cricket and able to spread the ABC message as apperances in local news papers and media enable the message to be spread to the people of Botswana it is hoped the BCA can continue the development and ABC message going on a continual basis.
