Cricket and other Sports Clubs

Cricket Without Boundaries is a great fit for cricket or other sports clubs looking for a charity to support either on a one-off basis or as an on-going relationship.

If you need some inspiration for fundraising ideas? Here are a few suggestions submitted by clubs and individuals who have fundraised for us in the past:

6-a-side tournament
Auction or Raffle
Wine and Cheese night
100 Club
Charity cricket match
Race night
Walkathon/Sports challenge

If you would like a Cricket Without Boundaries representative to give a talk at your event please do get in touch with our Head of Delivery Lee Booth.

You can also try these on-going fundraising ideas:

Dropped catch jar: every dropped catch costs the player a pound into the collection jar.
Fines collection: donate half (or all!) of your end-of-season or post-match “fines” to CWB.
Subs addition: include an opt-in donation to CWB on your club’s annual subs forms.
Junior training tuck-shop: older juniors can take ownership of running a tuck-shop on junior training nights, and take pride in the money they raise.

To request a collection jar, email:

What does your donation buy?

£2 - a set of coaching cards - for a teacher to continue coaching in their school
£30 – a set of cricket kit - that can sustain cricket at a primary school
£100 - a HIV testing station - at a cricket tournament or festival

If you can’t donate but still want to support the charity then why not volunteer for a Cricket Without Boundaries project, we welcome groups of volunteers from the same club!
